Checklist of the Accepted Forms of ID for White Card Course NSW
100 points of identity documents (ID) are required for the White Card course in NSW for general admission. ID requirements may vary depending on your circumstance:
- Recently arrived overseas person (less than 6 weeks in Australia)
- School student
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander

GENERAL ADMISSION
You must bring and show at least 100 points of ID on the day of your course.
The trainer must be able to verify the following details across your documents:
- Full Name
- Photo
- Residential Address
- Date of Birth
- Signature
Primary Documents
Only one of the following documents can be used.
NOTE: Only original documents are accepted. Photos, copies, and screenshots are NOT acceptable.

*NOTE
If you use a bank card and bank statement, they must be from two different Australian banks.
If you use two bank statements, they must be from two different Australian banks.
If you use two bank cards, they must be from two different Australian banks.
International bank cards are accepted only if the bank has a branch in Australia.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
1) Recently Arrived Overseas (Less Than 6 Weeks)
You must bring both of the following:

| Current driver’s licence (Australia or overseas) | OR | Bank card (Australia or overseas; must show name, signature, and expiry) |
2) School Students
You must show a school student ID card or one of the following:
- Australian Birth Certificate (14+)
- Australian Citizenship Certificate
- Australian driver’s licence / learner permit
- International passport (current or expired within last 2 years)
- Letter from school confirming name and date of birth
3) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
You must bring two written statements from the following authorised referees:
- Chairperson, secretary or CEO of an incorporated Indigenous organisation
- CDEP coordinator
- School principal
- School counsellor
- Minister of religion
- Treating health professional / Aboriginal medical service manager
- Centrelink staff or other government employee (Level 5+)
Note: Both statements must be on official organisational letterhead.
